Questions & answers

Mehut study programs are study groups where a course is studied together, class by class. The classes are delivered exclusively by local Chabad centers, by your Rabbi or Rebbetzin. Students who keep coming earn recognition and rewards along the way.

A yearly program usually has 18 classes. This lets everyone reach the following levels, according to the number of classes attended:

At the end of the year, a student receives one money reward, according to the level reached (rewards do not add up):

Rewards are handled by the Mehut team, not through this website. A reward can be paid to your personal account, donated to Mehut, or donated to your local Chabad.

Study credits can be redeemed for a discount on the Mehut trip to the CYP international event in New York, and also for the yearly grand event, the Mehutton. The details and the way to redeem will be on a dedicated website, coming soon.

No. Students pay nothing to Mehut. The students’ book is bought online on Amazon, either by the student or by their rabbi.

Rabbis pay the Mehut yearly fee (€159, once per rabbi) and the course manual (€129, one manual per rabbi) through secure Stripe payment links shown on their home page after they sign in. Payments are not made on this website itself. The Amazon links, the multimedia materials and the shipping of the manuals are managed manually by the Mehut team.

This is a simple, temporary platform for the current semester. Many steps are done by hand by our team.

• There are three kinds of users: admin (the Mehut team), rabbis and students.
• A rabbi signs up, opens a group and chooses a study program.
• A student signs up and joins the group of their rabbi from a list.
• At each class, the rabbi marks every student as present or absent. There is no QR scanning.
