Questions & answers for students
How do I join?
- Sign up as a student and confirm your email (we send you a link).
- Sign in and choose your group from the list (city – program – rabbi).
- That’s it. Go to the classes of your group.
The classes are given at your local Chabad center, by your Rabbi or Rebbetzin.
I can’t find my group in the list.
The list shows groups that your rabbi has opened on this website. Ask your rabbi to sign up and open the group, or write to us on WhatsApp.
Can I change my group?
You belong to one group. If you joined the wrong one, contact us and we will move you.
How is my attendance counted?
Your rabbi marks who is present at each class. There is no QR scan and nothing for you to do.
What are Base, Silver, Gold and Platinum?
A yearly program usually has 18 classes, so that everyone can reach all the levels, according to the number of classes attended: Base (classes 1–4), Silver (5–9), Gold (10–14) and Platinum (15–18).
What do I earn?
At the end of the year you receive one money reward according to the level you reached: €100 for Silver, €150 for Gold, or €200 for Platinum (rewards do not add up). A reward can be paid to your personal account, donated to Mehut, or donated to your local Chabad. Rewards are handled by the Mehut team.
Your study credits can be redeemed for a discount on the Mehut trip to the CYP international event in New York, and also for the yearly grand event, the Mehutton. The details will be on a dedicated website, coming soon.
Do I need to buy a book?
Yes, your book is bought online on Amazon, either by you or by your rabbi. Your rabbi will tell you which book and in which languages it is available. The Mehut team manages the Amazon links and the multimedia materials.
Do I pay anything to Mehut?
No. Students pay nothing to Mehut, and nothing is paid on this website.
I forgot my password.
Contact the Mehut team and we will set a new one for you.
